I am Radvile, a student of Cultural Management from Lithuania. I came to Brežice to do my internship at Mladinski Center with the program ERASMUS placement abroad and there are several reasons why I have chosen a small town in the east of Slovenia.

To begin with, the work at Mladinski Center is directly connected to my studies in Lithuania. Concerts, exhibitions, camps, events – everything what I learned theoretically at university is being implemented here practically. Another not less important reason – the country itself. I was keen to get familiar with Slovenia, its people and its culture; therefore it was a great chance to realize this desire. And finally, probably the most important reason - the fast and smooth preparation of all necessary documents which would have been impossible without enthusiastic team at Mladinski Center.
Although I will have the full view about my placement couple of months later, I can strongly say, that the first impression and first experiences excelled my expectations.  A quietness of the town at the day time is replaced by a melodic concert in the evening; different sport activities are changed by organizing an exhibition in non-traditional environment and, of course, a colorful and creative international team is ready not only to answer all the questions but also drink a glass of beer together after work.
